After a smash-hit debut season, Cabaret Unscripted is back at The Butterfly Club to serenade and captivate audiences at Melbourne Fringe.

Immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of a classic cabaret, where each night is a unique and unrepeatable experience. Improv virtuosos Isabella Valette and Greg Lavell weave melodies, maladies and a touch of madness into this show where your suggestions inspire and guide just about everything.

This 60-minute improvised comedy cabaret brings the energy, humour and panache reminiscent of ‘Chicago’, ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘Funny Lady’. Watch this unscripted cabaret emerge from the weird and wonderful minds of two of Melbourne’s best musical improvisers..

About Melbourne Unscripted

Melbourne Unscripted is a new theatre company fiercely dedicated to the craft and art of improvised theatre.

Much more than an improv troupe, Melbourne Unscripted is an ensemble of professional actors, musicians and theatre-designers coming together to create exciting, risky and immersive unscripted plays.

This company is a long-term project that has high aspirations to provide sustained work to talented and dedicated theatre-makers in Melbourne. We have a passion for the improvised arts, in both theatre and music. We believe these art-forms are undervalued and under-exposed to the public. Melbourne Unscripted plans to present immersive, comedic and accessible theatre to new audiences in Melbourne and beyond.
