At 1800ClimateEmergency we understand that everyone’s experience of impending doom is different. We are here to listen to your concerns and tailor a personalised climate action plan for you. We are a one-on-one hotline providing people experiencing emotional distress due to the increasingly alarming state of the world with guidance on how to take climate action and prepare for climate disasters.We believe connecting with others, talking about our worries, and taking steps towards action – no matter how big or small – goes a long way towards easing climate distress.We offer small-scale, big-scale, local and global advice on climate action and preparedness. Outcomes for sessions include, but are not limited to:- Connecting you with climate action groups in your area or online- General and/or specific climate disaster preparedness- Advice for climate action groups wanting to increase impact through branding, social media and technology- A general sense of easeSessions are designed as a one-on-one experience. You’ll log on to Zoom, there’ll be a short presentation, then you’ll have a chat with one of our friendly staff. They’ll ask you a series of questions that will help us tailor a plan to your needs. Households, friends, comrades, and families are welcome to jump on the call together.
