Broth Bitch

Politics. Protest. Petroleum.

  • Presented by: Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance and Monash University

  • Directed by: James Jackson

Nikki is the BROTH BITCH — famous for her bad-ass broths, author of edgy cook books, and the global face of Soup for Change. Emerging from a period of silence, Nikki's trying to win back a fanbase with her 7-day ‘Just Fucking Love Yourself’ soup program, available via podcast.

Nikki's going to teach you self-love with her signature tough approach. Yet the primary target for Nikki's rage, it seems, is Rosa de Fazio, Nikki's former work wife and the world's next global wellness queen.

The 7x weird and humorous podcasts (audio monologues) will be approximately 10 minutes each and released daily over a week. There will be a transcript available with each episode.

With performance by Maia Thomas and dramaturgy by Jessica Bellamy.

Support from the Australia Council for the Arts and Vitalstatistix.

This project is amplified by Melbourne Fringe through the Ralph Mclean Microgrant program.
