Job Opportunities

Engagement Manager

Are you a relationship expert? (And no, we don’t mean working out the best way to get people to swipe right). We’re on the hunt for an Engagement Manager to join the Fringe team – building new relationships, strengthening existing ones and helping us find new people to introduce to the wild world of Fringe.

This is an exciting new position in the Marketing & Development team, working to roll out the organisation’s private giving strategy, while also dipping your toes in corporate partnerships and audience development. Basically, we’re looking for someone who can help us to find some new friends (particularly ones with $$$ they might like to share with Fringe), celebrate and thank the friends we have already.

This is a year-round, fixed term contract working 3.5 days a week out of our brand-spanking-new offices at Trades Hall. (Seriously, they’re pretty nice). We know what life is like, so we can be flexible on hours and other working arrangements.

Sounds like something you’re keen on? Fill out our simple application form here by 10am 31 January 2022. We’re looking for someone to start on 21 Feb 2022 (date negotiable).

If you’d like to find out more about the role, please contact Erin Muller on erin@melbournefringe.com.au or 03 9660 9600.

Development Coordinator

Calling all admin and organisational whizzes… If you can’t go past a good tracking spreadsheet, love telling a story and are keen to help throw a few good parties, then apply for the brand new position of Development Coordinator at Melbourne Fringe!

We’re looking for someone to join the Marketing and Development team, which is responsible for driving diverse revenue streams (bringing in the money) and communicating Melbourne Fringe’s broad range programs (singing it from the rooftops). This is a part-time role (5 days a fortnight) based at our brand new Trades Hall offices, but we are very happy to accommodate flexible working arrangements.

So what does a Development Coordinator do, day-to-day? You’ll be making connections with our awesome donors – and helping us find new ones – through targeted communications, storytelling campaigns and some pretty fun parties. You’ll make sure it’s smooth sailing across the department by providing on-point admin support, and help us prepare proposals, acquittals and other important documentation (don’t worry, its not dry reporting, more amazing imagery, compelling storytelling and a lot of thank yous).

Ready to apply? Fill out our simple form here by 10am 14 February 2022. Please note, this is an identified and funded position for applicants with lived experience of Deafness or disability – applicants who are Deaf or disabled are strongly encouraged to apply. We’re looking for someone to start on 7 Mar 2022 (date negotiable). If you’d like to find out more about the role, please contact Erin Muller on erin@melbournefringe.com.au or 03 9660 9600.

Finance Manager

You’ll also contribute to compliance reporting, and will lead the annual financial audit process alongside the General Manager.

So if you have the skillz to literally pay the billz, fill out our simple application form here by 10am 31 January 2022. We’re looking for someone to start on 21 Feb 2022 (date negotiable).
