About

COVID Safety

In-person events at Fringe Common Rooms and external venues will proceed according to the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time. Melbourne Fringe has a detailed COVID-Safe plan to ensure the safety of audiences, artists and staff. Please follow the instructions of event staff and adhere to the following principles while attending. Remember, our staff are there to keep your safe, please be nice!

Vaccination
Although government vaccine mandates for patrons are no longer in place, we still strongly recommend that only patrons who are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines or are medically exempt attend events at Fringe Common Rooms.

Attendance

Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or are required to quarantine as a confirmed case of COVID-19. Click here for our refunds and exchange policy. If you begin to feel unwell while at an event, contact an event staff member immediately.

Hand Hygiene
Wash your hands after touching surfaces and apply hand sanitiser liberally.

Bring a Mask
We recommend wearing a mask when you are unable to physically distance from other humans. Surgical masks are available at the venue, please ask our friendly staff if you would like one.

Venue Capacity
Fringe Common Rooms has strict venue capacity numbers depending on the type of event. To avoid disappointment, please book ahead online as door sales may not be available.
