On this En-Chanted evening, you will be greeted by welcoming faces and led into an experiential space where you will find yourself singing in Sanskrit and English, clapping, dancing, stretching and dropping into a deep silence. You’ll be led by 15 musicians playing instruments from the east and the west, by dancers, and by a meditation master warmly guiding you to your home within. Bring a cushion, shawl, water bottle, and open minds and hearts for this three-hour adventure that will leave you rejuvenated if not blissed out. You will leave with a bigger heart, a wider smile and a sweet taste on your lips. So come along to find your voice or deepen it in this loving space where we uplift ourselves while helping others. The chants transcend religion, gurus, philosophies and doctrines to give us the ecstatic experience of the truth – that we are one.
Vedic Vibe’s traditional and contemporary instruments include the harmonium, mrdang, pakhawaj, tablas, derebouka, oud, sitar, djembe, tamboura, cymbals, guitar, cello, clarinet, flutes, ukulele and tambourine.
Vedic Vibe is a non-profit ensemble and all proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Doors open at 6:00PM.
“I have not felt this full of love in a long time”
— Karolinka Roberts (past participant)
“What is this, I feel so good and even people who never smile have smiles from one end of their face to the other! I played golf the next morning and I couldn’t get the chanting out of my head. I just kept repeating the words. Thank you so much.”
— Peter Harley, Brighton (past participant)
"The power of sound vibration brings people together in a way that distorts the me-versus- you. In this safe container, the lines between religion, race, gender, and creed melt away like ice on a hot summer's day and all that is left is LOVE."
– Brighton Baths blog
